Zen House

A weekend house on the grounds of a golf course. The brief was deceptively simple: build something that feels like the opposite of a working week. The clients wanted stillness. They wanted to arrive and feel immediately that they had left something behind.
The design took Zen principles at their word, not as aesthetic references, but as organisational logic. Spaces are uncluttered not because they lack objects, but because every object has been chosen with deliberate restraint. Circulation moves through rooms, creating a sense of intimacy at scale.
