Sulva Couture

The spatial language of Sulva couture draws deeply from the visual richness of Indian weddings, while interpreting tradition through a contemporary architectural vocabulary. Rather than recreating the familiar tropes of a bridal store, the design looks at Indian craftsmanship, ornament, colour, proportion and the rituals of dressing as sources of inspiration. The interiors are conceived as a sequence of intimate experiences, allowing the bridal collections to remain the focal point. Traditional Indian aesthetics are expressed through carefully considered materiality, detailing and forms, creating an atmosphere that feels celebratory without becoming overly ornate.
