Anandam

A home for six: two generations, different rhythms, one building. The design for Anandam was built around the idea of iridescence: spaces that feel warm in the morning and cool in the evening, that change with the hours. The entrance porch sets the tone immediately, arches painted in deep yellow, a motif ceiling, a black-and-white tile floor that pulls you forward.
Throughout the house, the language is consistent: arched openings, warm material, handmade detail. The outdoor seating area, facing the street, is shaded by a trellis with climbing plants and furnished with rattan. It is a space that belongs to both the house and the neighbourhood.
