Twelve acres in Yamunanagar, our first project in the Chandigarh region.
When we first walked the site, we didn't ask what to build.
A site this size doesn't want to be filled. It wants to be listened to. So we started with materials that belong to the ground and return to it: earth, stone, lime, timber, clay. And forms that follow the land rather than cut across it.
At the centre of it is a simple idea: a place where being among others feels restful, not demanding. Shared courtyards. Quiet corners. Room to be alone or together.
We're just at the beginning. But the land already knows what it wants to become.
