In India, Khadi refers to the handwoven cloth. The client wanted a simplistic organic themed boutique to reflect the simplicity of their clothing line. “If we have the Khadi spirit in us, we surround ourselves with simplicity in every walk of life” -Mahatma Gandhi.
The interior is conceptualized by the theme of Sabarmati Ashram. Bringing the exterior inside, the display wall is covered with a sloping roof Chajja covered with Mangalore tiles. 
Society is becoming increasingly aware of the importance of environmentally responsible building and interior design. As a result, more and more clients seek to incorporate sustainability principles into their interiors.
The flooring is of black stone with a mandala in the center. Keen detailing of lighting and furniture plays a major role in this project.
